MeghanHello! Connecticut Rainbow, including the Motivational Maestros (Grand Officers), Passionate Prodigies (Grand Representatives), and all others, welcomes you! Our theme for the year is “Life is a Symphony.”

This year, I encourage everyone to “Discover Your Song with Connecticut Rainbow” and our mascot is the Lion. Our three symbols are treble clefs, music notes, and microphones and our colors are orange, yellow, and purple. The song we will be singing along to is “Read All About It” by Emeli Sande and our flowers are the yellow rose and purple lilac.

This year’s quote is “Where words fail, music speaks” -Hans Christian Anderson.

The charity we will be supporting is Camp Rising Sun, a non-profit camp in Colebrook, Connecticut. This camp gives children with cancer or in remission the opportunity to be themselves and have fun during the summer and winter while forming everlasting friendships. It is a chance for them to meet those who have gone through similar experiences and build hope for the future.

Serving Connecticut Rainbow is such an honor and I am truly excited for what the upcoming year has in store!

Meghan Dana, GWA 18-19
